Overview

IGBliss ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal iOS application for managing Instagram content. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app.

Information We Access

To provide its functionality, IGBliss accesses the following information:

Photos and Location Data: The app reads photos from your device's photo library, including GPS metadata, to group photos by location and identify venues.
Instagram Account: With your authorization, the app connects to your Instagram Business account to publish posts on your behalf.
Device Token: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send you notifications when scheduled posts are published.

How We Use Your Information

To organize and cluster your photos by location and time
To identify venues using Google Places API based on photo GPS coordinates
To generate AI-assisted captions for your posts
To upload and publish content to Instagram via the Instagram Graph API
To send push notifications about published posts

Third-Party Services

IGBliss uses the following third-party services:

Meta/Instagram Graph API: To publish content to your Instagram account. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
Google Places API: To identify venues from GPS coordinates. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Amazon Web Services (AWS): To host our backend services and temporarily store photos for publishing.
OpenAI/Anthropic: To generate AI-assisted captions (photos may be analyzed for caption generation).

Data Storage and Retention

Photos are temporarily uploaded to AWS S3 for Instagram publishing and are deleted after successful publication.
Post metadata (captions, publish dates) is retained for sync purposes.
Your Instagram access token is stored securely in AWS Secrets Manager.
Push notification device tokens are stored in AWS S3.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure token storage, and access controls on our cloud infrastructure.

Your Rights

You can revoke the app's access to your Instagram account at any time through your Instagram settings. You can also disable photo library access and push notifications through your iOS device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
